Bale Mountain Farm is located in West Arsi, in the Bale Mountains belt, a region that forms the south east of the Ethiopian Highlands.

The farm itself is located at 1,800 - 2,100 masl, in an idyllic location, extremely hard to reach by road and surrounded by two large rivers that flow to the Wabe Shebelle River and Forest Mountains.

The farm employs over 350 people in the area, and are actively involved in community initiatives such as local road construction, nursery establishment and free distribution of coffee seedlings, school building as well as financial support during the off season.

The coffee from Bale Mountain is notably dense and uniform, consistently delivering a high-quality cup profile. The anaerobic fermentation in this lot highlights the acidity and fruit notes usually found in Bale Mountain coffees and was a standout on the cupping table. Expect fresh melon notes dancing with subtle hints of blueberry muffins – a truly delightful surprise in every sip.
