Gisheke is the newest member of the Muraho Trading Co. family in the Nyamasheke District. At a heady altitude of 1800m above sea level, the station overlooks Lake Kivu. Currently only accessible by water, quite remarkably all the cherries come from the neighbouring islands and are delivered by boat. Almost 40% of the cherries processed here come by boat from Bushungwe Island.

Muraho helped Gisheke farmers prepare for future crop cycles with a nursery of 43,000 red Bourbon seedling that it distributed to farmers in October 2018. Their staff also offer training in agricultural practices, to help producers increase their crop yields and income in future years, especially with their new seedlings.
