Packaging

Each coffee from the Summit Collection comes in a limited edition, foiled tin and contains 180g of premium specialty coffee.

The coffee stays fresh for up to three years once sealed, thanks to our special gas-flushing packaging. 

We replace the oxygen with argon gas, which pretty much stops the coffee from aging and keeps all that delicious flavor locked in. 

Our bags are produced in a carbon offset processing process and are fully recyclable in the UK – just pop them in with your soft plastic recycling at your local supermarket.

Tegal Alemaheyu Aferu

Tagel Alemayehu Aferu is a coffee producer and processor from West Guji, Ethiopia who focuses on quality above all else.

“I focus all my energy and effort to maintain quality,” Tagel said. “Thanks to the organizers for this opportunity that allowed coffee producers and suppliers to see the fruits of their effort. I always advise my outgrows that we have to maintain quality to take advantage of this kind of fair and reliable competition.”

In the 2020 competition, the first Cup of Excellence in Ethiopia, Tagel’s coffee scored 87.82 for 18th place. He hopes his result in the Cup of Excellence competition will bring attention for his quality coffee from buyers.
